After months of remodeling and designing, Daniel Bonne's opened its doors on the West Loop in Tyler. The date was October 10, 2001. Several other restaurants had been in this particular building... so we had our fears. But they were soon laid to rest. We became the first successful restaurant there, or at least that is what we've been told. We hd a plain old dsimple paper menu, a handful of servers, a few cooks and dishwashers. Some of them are still with us today. We surprised many people with our consistently delicious food and excellent service.
Allen Samuels Dodge purchased our location in November, 2003. We relocated February 2004 to our present location on the East Loop in Tyler. It took us 1 week to close the old llocation and "move-in" to the new. It was the best thing that could have happened. The new location has brought us continued success.
We love living and working in Tyler. We have made many friends and look forward to making many more. We realize that we don't have a big franchise behind our name, but we don't have to... after all, who doesn't know who Daniel Boone is.
